Delhivery is one among the countless courier services in the market, and each of them has a different way of tracking their packages, which includes vastly different arrays of numbers, terminology, and methods to track your package. Learning all of them can be just as much of a hassle as trying to figure out how your specific courier tracks and manages each and every individual package. You shall just enter your tracking number above and we’ll track the shipment for you.
How To Track Your Courier
It isn’t just tech savvy people who use courier services. There’s a good chance that one might have a difficulty in tracking, that’s why we’ve made a guide which has a step by step procedure you’ll need to follow. First off, there are three types of numbers which you must be aware of if you want to trace your package from Delhivery. All of these numbers should be present one way or another on your Receipt. Proceeding to how to track your package:
Air Waybill
The Air Waybill or the AWB is the number your package is assigned when it is being shipped via an aeroplane to its destination. You’re likely to find this number on your receipt if you’re sending your parcel from one metro city to another metro city or beyond.
- Search for your Air Waybill number on your receipt.
- Choose AWB from the options given.
- Enter your AWB number into the text field.
- Hit track package and wait while details about your package are retrieved.
Order ID
This is the number you receive which is unique to your specific order. Although it can encompass multiple packages, you can use this number to specifically track where your package is headed. You should find your Order ID on any form of receipt regardless of whether it is an Air Waybill or a Lorry Receipt. It is also usually given to the recipient of the package in most cases of B2C e-commerce models.
- Search for your Order ID on the given receipt.
- Select Order ID from the options.
- Enter your Order ID in the text field.
- Click on Track and wait for the tracking details to arrive.
LR Number
The LR Number is often used for LTL or Less Than Load Shipments. Whenever you’re shipping packages which don’t meet the requirements to be shipped by planes or you’re shipping locally, you’ll get a Lorry Receipt Number which will give you information about the Lorry your package is on. You can further use this number to track your package in transit.
- Search for your LR Number given on your receipt.
- Select LTL from the given options.
- Enter your LR Number in the text field.
- Your package can now be tracked after you wait for your tracking details to arrive.
Any package from Delhivery has to have at least any one of the three numbers. Now that you know what your number says about your package, it’ll be easier for you to find your number and track your package.

About the company
Delhivery is a logistics company which serves both the B2B and the B2C models and was started in May 2011 when it operated solely in, as the name suggests, New Delhi and Gurgaon. After a series of fundraisers and rebrandings, they delivered their 100th million shipments back in 2016 and now provides service to 12,000+ pin codes in over 1,200+ cities all over India. It serves 3,000 clients, 150,000 sellers and processes upwards of 350,000 products a day while boasting a 15,000 member team and over 1 million square feet of warehousing space. Talk about growth.
In their own words, their goal is to “become India’s largest and most profitable fulfilment company for digital commerce.” while focusing on efficiency and the user’s needs. You can check out more about them on their website.
Coverage Area
Delhivery currently operates on more than 12,000 PIN codes distributed over upward of 1,200 cities in India. Needless to say, it serves all the Metro Cities and it’s most major hubs include, in no specific order, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. This proves to be more than enough to cover most of the areas across the face of India as these hubs act more like regional distribution centres to smaller hubs and warehouses which are then instrumental in delivering your package to the most remote village which they can reach.
Delhivery Pricing
Delhivery offers two types of services to its clients and sellers. The first is the more economic Standard Shipping which takes longer to reach the destination, and the second is the faster Express Shipping, which may be more expensive, but reaches the destination much faster than the Standard variant. Both of them charge differently as can be seen below:
